  2. A True Boating Family My uncle’s boat has big, blue sails. When he goes by, fish wave their tails. They jump and seem to sing with him. My uncle watches while they swim. My cousin Sue comes on, I hear. Some days, it’s true, she even steers.

  3. My brother has a boat that’s small. He rows it fast, and thrills us all. He likes to take me. That I know. He glides through water. See him go! For years my mother sailed big ships. She went on many long, long trips.

  4. One ship of hers was called Sweet Pea. It carried things from sea to sea. Some boxes were red, white, and blue. They all were full of sticky glue. My father steers a mighty tug, Which pushes, pulls, and goes Chug, chug!

  5. He works in every kind of weather. From time to time, we go together. Of course, my sister has a boat. It’s tiny, but it sure can float!
