LOS RESGUARDOS INDÍGENAS DE LA CUENCA DEL AMAZONAS • Generalidades: • Departamentos de la cuenca: Guainia, Guaviare, Caqueta, Vaupés, Putumayo, Amazonas. • Étnias Guiania: Piaroa, Puinave y Curripaco. • Étnias Vaupés: Wanano, Cubeo, Carapana, Pisamira, Bara, Piratapuyo, Tuyuca, Barasana, Tariano, Desano, Maku, Tucano, Yuruti, Siriano, Tatuyo, Taibano. • Étnias Caquetá:Coreguaje, Huitoto, Miraña, Muinane • Étnias Amazonas: Yagua, Cocama, Ocaina, Ticuna, Yuri, Tanimuca, Cabayari, Yucuna, Matapi, Bora, Letuama, Carijona, Nonuya, Andoque, Yuana. www.aromaverde.org

LOS TUCANO EN EL GUAINIA • Generalidades: • Se ubican ríos Vaupés, Papurí, Paca, en la frontera con el Brasil. • Uno de los pueblos más númerosos de la región, se calculan 6.837 personas. • Familia liguistica Tucano Oriental. • Cultura: Plantas Sagradas estructura Social y Cultural. El Yurupari ritual trascendental, origenes y cosmovisión. • Vive en Malokas. Vivienda colectiva y espacios rituales. • Migración por la evangelización. • Los cultivos siguen el esquema de roza, quema y siembra (yuca, ñame, chontaduro, banano, ají, caimo, aguacate, piña, papaya, lulo, marañon).
