  5. Personas are a tool for representing and understanding real end-users that help ensure we are designing with them in mind. Personas help us identify: • Overall objectives when using a product • Contexts and Scenarios of Use: When, where and why a user would use the product • Key User Goals: There are lots of possible tasks you design around. Goals help you choose the right ones for the users

  6. Scenarios represent detailed “real-world” usage of an application by a specific persona (in context) and provide a detailed understanding of their needs • This helps us ensure that we are designing the application to effectively support how users actually want to use the application: • Accommodating “real life”, contextual constraints • Validating feature ideas: “Are these features right for users?”
