Learning & Development Working group Statistics

The TEC Meeting Working Group on Statistics, composed of Claude, Eric, Maria, Sabine, and Silvia, focused on establishing and validating standard reports for internal training reporting. Key decisions made in June 2013 involved creating two standard training reports in the HRT system: one for cost and one for time. These reports include details such as department, unit, course title, and attendance data. The group also validated discrepancies in training data and emphasized the importance of accurately reflecting training costs and time in the reports. Despite challenges, the standard reports are now validated and ready for use.

WG Statistics: Claude, Eric, Maria, Sabine, Silvia • Mandate: set up & validate standard reports for internal training reporting (HRT & BO) • Decisions June 2013: • Provide 2 standard training reports in HRT: COST, TIME with output of list of trainings plus summary. • Output: Dept, Unit, Name, Status, Course title, session date, cost ORtime • COST: charging time and budget code determine cost output. • Charging date within period specified • Budget code used for charging determines unit • Number of people in output for unit U: N_cost • TIME: session start date determines time output. • Only time attended is taken into account (also percentage!) • Organic unit as in Oracle-HR at the session starting time • Information in report irrespective if session had been charged: N_time TEC Meeting

WG Statistics: Claude, Eric, Maria, Sabine, Silvia • Nota Bene: • Standard reports will show either time-info OR cost-info • N_cost != N_time !! • Output list of both reports has different entries • Validation: HRT standard report with explicit HRT training list report • Big help of Sabine (and Maria in 2013)! • Detailed comparison of HRT training list (internal + external) with HRT standard reports and BO reports • Identified and fixed discrepancies • BO report fix still pending (resources!) • Conclusion: • Validated standard training reports now available • would have been nice to include external training (resources) • DTO WG finished TEC Meeting
