Maureen Horn • 5th year at Cordova Middle School • Courses teaching: 6th grade Honors Science • Previously taught 6th, 7th & 8th grade science • Four adult children: • 1 is a mechanical engineer • 2 is a computer and electrical engineer • 3 is a biologist/ecologist and AP biology teacher • 4is a veterinarian • My Daughters-in-law are teachers

  10. The 6th grade Honors Science Program is a challenging and enhanced curriculum which includes: • Inquiry based learning-labs, hands on discovery, web quests, virtual labs • Interactive Notebooks • Quarterly Projects • Quarterly Thesis Papers and Self-Reflections • Common Core Writing
