  7. Activity 1 Directions • You and your partner will act as a mini factory. • Cut/tear up sheet of paper to make as many squares and/or triangles as you wish. • You must use all of the paper. Answer on Paper: • Explain what scarce resources you used to produce squares and triangles. • Why are these items “scarce”? • Describe how this scenario exemplifies scarcity.

  8. Activity 2 Directions You and your partner are going to hang out this weekend. You can do anything/ go anywhere you want. On your paper, write the following • List all the things you want to do this weekend. • Describe what you would actually be able to do given 100 dollars. • Write out a budget to explain your choices. • What options will you have to give up? • Discuss and explain how this relates to scarcity.
