If I extract data from the Geodatabase, will the reaches already have measures? Answer; Yes, but this is not a guarantee that all reaches will have measures
How do I insure that all my reaches have measures? Answer; Use the MValue utility provided by the NHD Stewardship Team of course
Programs NHDGeodatabase NHDMValueUtility
1.) Select Output Log File: Navigate to folder that contains pgdb (Pgdb will not be displayed) Name output file same as pgdb
2.) Select a Flowline Feature Class: Navigate to pgdb – select Flowline feature class OK
The MValue utility is a valuable QC tool Measures that cannot be calculated are flagged as errors and can be resolved Error Log generated from NHDMValue Utility
