  4. 2014 Grammar Project Common Errors & Corrections Too much text  Reading to audience  Font size too small  Unreadable fonts  Unreadable colors  Too many effects, graphics, sounds  Delete articles and verbs; use bullets, not sentences Only list big ideas; verbalize details and explanations Minimum 32-point font Use Arial or Calibri Stick with black & white; only use color for emphasis Use only when necessary or to aid understanding

  5. 2014 Grammar ProjectActivity Directions: First create a team of 3 and select someone to be the Runner, someone to be the Recorder, & someone to be the Reporter. The Runner will gather your group’s materials from the instructor at the front of the room. Then you will work with your team to identify the errors in the sample you are given. While you are working, the Recorder should correct the errors per the team’s findings. After 5 minutes, the Reporter will share your group’s corrections with the class. You have 5 minutes… GO!

Work together to identify the errors in the sample you are given. Recorder correct the errors per the team’s findings. Reporter share corrections with the class. You have 5 minutes… GO!

Some diverse topics are Homosexuality, the race of a person, the gender of the person, and bullys are no longer tolerated, and if the person is disabled, mentally of phisicaly also on technology (passages from packet). Find 12 errors.

This means that younger people are more tolerant of diversity within their families. Older people are probably more hesitant because they grew up in the Civil Rights era. Find 6 errors.

Without these groups in the United States (such as illegal Immagrants), our diverse population would be eleven times smaller that white’s populations. According to the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED), workers employed at Exporting companies who are white earn fifteen percent more in wages than migrant workers, who take up ninety percent of our diversity. Sample I (Conclusion) In conclusion of the society, and how are tolerance for diversity is our generation is clearly better with diversity than any other generation, because we have learned from other generations what not become! We may see that our society has little diversity, but we could be much worse with racism. Ace is a huge thing in society, because it makes you who you are, no one should be judged against how they were born. Find 8 errors.
