  3. Things to Consider 选课注意事项When Selecting Your Courses 1. What do universities require for entrance? Universities will only use English 12 plus and three other academic courses (Mandarin 12 will be one of the three) 2. What do you want to study at university?   10. PROVINCIAL AND SCHOOL EXAMS省考和平时考试 Final Exams are 13 weeks away. ALL Students must write the school exams and provincial exams to pass the course. Exams will be from June 18 - June 22. 离期末考试还有13周 如要总评及格，所有学生必须参加学校的考试和加拿大省考 考试大约安排在6月18日到6月22日

  12. PROVINCIAL EXAMS Final marks for the course are a blend of the school mark (80%) and provincial exam mark (20%) This makes the work students do in class MOST IMPORTANT! 学生总评分由平时成绩（占80%）和省考成绩（占20%）组成 因此学生的平时成绩相当重要！

  14. IMPORTANT TO NOTE!重要事项！ If students in the BC Program fail a course (less than 50% Final Mark) they MUST REPEAT IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR! If a student fails more than 3 courses, they may be asked to repeat the grade. The BC Ministry of Education will not give a student credit for the course until they passit! 如果BC学生考试不合格（总评低于50分），则第二年这门课必须重修！ 如果学生有3门考试不合格，则需要留级重读一年。 如总评不合格，BC教育部将不会给予学分。

What Can My Child Do To Get Into The Top Universities?如何入读名校？ 必须成绩优异，学习习惯良好，在进入高中前就对学习有着很高的积极性 在11年级到12年级，所有科目一直保持80分以上 学习习惯良好，刻苦努力，学习英语的积极性高 Must have a Strong Foundation of Grades, Work Ethic, and desire to learn before they enter grade 10. In grade 11-12, maintain 80% or higher in all courses. Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude towards learning English.

  16. What Can My Child Do To Get Into The Top Universities?如何入读名校？ Excellent marks in English 80%+ Meet the TOEFL & IELTS requirements. Lead a balanced school life: Music, Sports, Clubs, Community. Seek extra help if needed: Tutoring & Hire an agency 英语成绩必须达到80分以上 托福雅思必须考到要求的分数 参与课外活动：音乐、体育、社团和校内各项活动 寻求额外帮助：补课或聘请留学机构
