  1. Verbluffend landschap bij Mamers Valles • Dit gebied op Mars is lange tijd onderzocht omdat het eruitzag alsof hier sprake was van langzaam bewegend ijs. Het landschap wordt gedomineerd door afgevlakte mesas en vlakke dalbodems. Van dichterbij echter lijkt het er meer op dat bodemmateriaal heel geleidelijk van de randen van de mesas de dalen in glijdt. uahirise.org/nl/ESP_028313_2220
