This will generate an auto-alert to the registered email address detailing a unique password. • NOTE: Ensure you have entered a memorable ‘username’ and a valid ‘email address’ that you have access to.

  13. 2. HOW TO ACCESS THE AUCTION MONITOR TO PLACE A BID NOTE the time and date of the eAuctions (as well as the (“Running” or “Confirmed”) status) • 2.3. You will be presented with a list of auctions, these auctions represent the routes identified by Warwickshire County Council. • These auctions are ‘grouped’ together, i.e. they will start and finish at the same time. To obtain a free download of Java, please go to www.java.com. This takes a few minutes to download (depending on your internet connection) Please click ‘Enter’…

The auction monitor will show windows for: • Auction lots: • Title - this will show the name (contract code) of the route • Base Price – your bid needs to be under this to be valid • Reserve Price – no values will be shown in this field • Best Bid – shows the leading bid at the time • Your Current Bid – shows your latest placed bid for that route • Your Current Rank – your rank is based on your latest bid for that route • Time Remaining – please monitor this very closely • Status – this will indicate whether the auction is running or if it has ended • Enter bid Value – this is where you will enter bid (your day) rate

  16. 2. HOW TO ACCESS THE AUCTION MONITOR TO PLACE A BID 2.6. To place a bid please enter the amount in the ‘Enter Bid Value’ columnand click ‘Submit Bid’on the right-hand side of the page… 2.7. You will be asked to confirm your offer or to cancel. If you are sure you want to place the bid, please click ‘OK’. If you do not want to bid the amount displayed, please click ‘Cancel’… (your rank will be displayed in the area across the top of the window).

Note that your bid rank is shown in the ‘Your Current Rank’ column.Closely monitor this during the auction as this shows what position you are ranked at.

Training eAuction: • Available between Monday 16h January 2012 (12:00) – Thursday 19th January 2012 (23:59). Available 24 hours a day for registered Operators (that have registered by Friday January 13th 2012 (18:00) Live eAuction: As per rules of participation • Friday 20th January 2012, at 10:30am Number of lots: (the number of routes that suppliers can bid for) • 20 routes in total

  20. 3. eAUCTION STRUCTURE • Base price: (your initial price needs to be lower than this to place a valid bid) • Various by Route, as per Rules of Participation • Minimum bid decrement:(the price your bid needs to come down by) • £1.00 • Duration: (the time the auction is set to run for) • 20 minutes • Auto extensions: (If a bid is placed in the last three (3) minutes, the clock will reset to 3 minutes) • 3 minutes • Supplier visibility: (what information the supplier can view during the auction) • The leading bid, your bid and your rank only.
