  2. Warm-up- Vocabulary Practice • Vocabulary Cartoons: • Create a cartoon based on your assigned word. • You may work with a partner. • Your cartoon should include a visual and your word. • You can make one funny picture or a cartoon strip using your word in the dialogue.

  3. Pair Work Conversation Quiet voices with your partner or the teacher only. Help each other. If you need more assistance, Raise your hand And I will come to you. Help Activity Brainstorm and complete your cartoon. Be creative. Movement You may sharpen pencils and get supplies as needed Complete all parts of the activity. Keep sidebars to a minimum. What does the color red symbolize? What does an elephant symbolize?
