Highlights of August Trending News in Hindi - Indiavirals Nandamuri Harikrishna, Son of Ex-Andhra Chief Minister, Dies In Accident Nandamuri Harikrishna, the son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, died today in a road accident in Telangana. N Harikrishna, 61, was a former parliamentarian and an actor and a member of the politburo of the state's ruling Telugu Desam Party. The actor- politician was driving his SUV, a Toyota Fortuner, at a high speed, to attend a wedding in Nellore when his car hit a divider and flipped, landing on its side. Nandamuri Harikrishna's sons, Junior NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram, both popular actors, went to the hospital. Mr Harikrishna's oldest son Nandamuri Janakiram was killed in a road accident in 2014. Junior NTR was also in an accident in 2009, but he escaped with injuries. Ashutosh Says AAP Used His Surname despite His Protest in 2014 Polls Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashutosh alleged today that he had been forced to mention his last name, even though he never used one, by the party when he was fighting the 2014 national election from a constituency in Delhi. Ashutosh, a former journalist, quit the AAP on August 15, citing personal reasons."In 23 years of my journalism, no one asked my caste, surname. Was known by my name. But as I was introduced to party workers as Lok Sabha candidate in 2014 my surname was promptly mentioned despite my protest," posted Ashutosh, who uses a single name. Google's Next Big Push in India - Quick Loans To Masses Alphabet Inc's Google said on Tuesday it is partnering with a handful of Indian banks to bring quick loans to the masses, as it aims to woo tens of millions of new internet users in the country to its digital payments services. Google launched payments app Tez, meaning fast in Hindi, in India last year integrating it with the state-backed unified payments interface (UPI) as it sought to gain a foothold in the South Asian nation's digital payments space which, according to Credit Suisse, will grow five-fold to $1 trillion by 2023. Google rebranded the app as Google Pay and said it was partnering with four Indian banks, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank - to provide instant loans to the app's users.
