Download MiCOM S1 Studio software • ● This new release is fully compatible with your existing Schenider Electric V3.4.0 (patch 1 )installation and database as well as all MiCOM relays currently installed.   5. Starting installation Warning: disable antivirus software before installation Launch Installer

  6. DataModelManager • At the end of installation, close S1 studio & launch Data Model Manager : • If requested, select another language

  7. DataModelManager • 2 actions available : • Add/Suppress DataModels • Export/Import DataModels

  8. DataModelManager • « Add » or « Remove » Menu : • Select DataModel source for installation • AREVA FTP is recommended for old DataModels as well as up to date!

DataModelManager Check Datamodels files on your Harddisk : • to check that the files have been actually installed: • C:\ ProgramData\Schneider Electric\MiCOM S1 Studio\Datamodels • Nota: To access this directory you have to authorize in Window Explorer the access normally hidden to these files.

  24. Creating architecture • .ldb file is visible only when the system is open • .ms1s is the System • The folder contains the whole system architecture with relay settings, events & disturbance files • Whole architecture can be retrieved under Windows environment

Add automatically a protection device • When opening an existing system or after a quick connection, some devices may be displayed in white : it means that Data Model is not installed. • Use Data Model manager to install required Data Models then you are able to display settings… (quit MiCOM S1 Studio before starting data model manager) • When DataModel is found, device is displayed in gray colour.

Setup connection • Communication settings memory • Right click on Connection to create a new connection • This step allows the system to identify once the device and to keep in memory communication parameters. • For the first time set the default parameters of the relay that you would be able to read on the LCD. • It will not be anymore required to open/close connexion to the device, it is automatic! • Default password : AAAA • Note : a connexion already exists if the relay has been added automatically with quick connect

Settings file • « Settings » • Create a new settings file • Add an existing file • Extract settings from device (it creates a new file) – connection* is required • Extract full settings from device even read only parameters and meny labels (Px4x only) – connection* is required • * Connection • Right click :
