  3. INTRODUCTION The taj mahal is one of the most recognisable and famous place in the world, The beautiful building is located on the banks of holy river yamuna in the Mughal city Agra, India. The white domed marble was represent the finest and awesome example of Mughals architecture. Spread over an area of 2244 hectares, the Taj Mahal includes the two tomb of Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, a moonlight garden, waterworks infrastructure and a small town of Taj Ganji. The beautiful structure became a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage Site in 1983.

  5. REASON TO BUILD TAJ MAHAL The wonderful edifice represents the love story of Shah Jahan and his wife, Mumtaz. It was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum upon the death of his third beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. She died to give birth of her 14th children.
