  4. SUMMARY Once there was a king that had 6 sons and one daughter who was called Cora.

  5. Cora's father was roaming in the park when he left his men far behind and got lost. He met a wicked witch who offered to help him but he had to do something for her in return.

  6. She said you must marry my daughter and make her queen. The king has no options so he agrees. • The wicked witch later discovers that he has children living in another palace. She turns his sons into swans. His daughter Cora manages to turn them back into humans, well all of them except one.

  7. Comment from Selma I think the story of six swans brothers is wonderful story, because it uses an opening that other story's do not have.

  8. Comment from Lena I think the six swan brothers story is excellent because it has good vocabulary and also is very interesting to read.

  9. Comment from Zoya I think the story of the six swans brothers is fantastic because it solves mysteries in a way that other stories don’t.

  10. About the author “I spent most of my time there acting, singing, and performing in cabarets and not working terribly hard". She was born in Jerusalem in 1944 and spent her early childhood in many different countries because her father was in colonial service. Before I was eleven I Iived in Cyprus , Nigeria and north Borneo, and later my parents were also sent to the Gambia and Tanganyika (now Tanzania).
