  4. Warm Up OBJECTIVE: SWBAT develop and apply a strategy for finding the area of any triangle in the world. 1. Joel bought a giant candy bar and shared the outlined piece with his sister. What is the area of the piece of the candy bar he shared? 15.6 in Area of Rectangle - > 12 in x 10 in = 120 in2 Area of Triangle - > 120 in2 ÷ 2 = 60 in2 10 in 2. Joel’s friend bought an even bigger candy bar. Find the area of a right triangular candy bar that has a base of 5 ¼ ft. and a height of 4 ft. 12 in Agenda
