The survey • Respondents: • Nordic medical faculty deans and university hospital directors • 44 % replies • Replies are almost equal in all the Nordic countries • Position: • 40% Medical faculty deans • 40% University hospital directors • 20% Regional hospital leaders • Institutiongroups: • 40% Medical faculties • 45% University hospitals • 15% Regional health authorities

  3. Integration between universities and university hospitals? •  Physically: • Few are fully integrated • More than half are moderately integrated

  4. Integration between universities and university hospitals? • Administration: • 75 % have a low degree of administrative integration

  5. Integration between universities and university hospitals? • Finance: • 90 % have little or no financial integration
