  3. De-Clutter Your Life And Reduce Anxiety When you are not feeling your best, physically and mentally, anxiety happens easily in a stressful situation. But panic attacks don’t have to be crippling. Over the course of last weekend I had a multiple panic attacks, all of which happened in public places. I found myself looking for escape routes, toilets and ways out of my situations. I knew this was anxiety and social anxiety kicking in, and I have had it long enough to know how to manage it, but sometimes it still comes up to bite me on the bum! What do I do when I am having a panic attack? Breathe. Take deep, long breathes in and out through the nose, closing your eyes if possible. As you lengthen out the breath your heart rate slows and the body slowly relaxes. Try to think about things which are not causing you stress. For example, If people are stressing me out, I close my eyes and try to feel alone in a safe space. This one can be hard, but if you meditate regularly it becomes easier to control your mind when you desperately need it. WWW.INSIDETHEFUZZYHEAD.COM

  4. How To Manage Panic Attacks In Public Places? Remove yourself from the situation. Find a toilet cubicle or a quiet corner and calm yourself down. Do some self talk and prepare yourself for the outside world before facing the situation again. Essential oils. I carry Doterra’s‘console’ and ‘balance’ around in my handbag at all times, and sometimes add lavender or frankincense before I leave the house. These oils have calming effects and help get through rough times of anxiety. They have become like a portable security blanket for me. I managed to get through by combining all of these things. I hope eventually my anxiety will reduce to a point where I don’t notice it anymore, and then go away altogether, but it is a long, slow process and as soon as you stop caring for yourself it all comes back stronger than before! The key is consistency. In good times and bad. Always care for yourself. Keep your sleep levels up, cup full and heart warm. WWW.INSIDETHEFUZZYHEAD.COM
