What is Content Marketing Funnel and what type of content is right for Each Stage of the Funnel Content Marketing Funnel It is a system that can tap an infinite number of leads by following a step by step content flow. This is a place where a large number of leads came to know about your products or services. These leads can be your prospective customers. As they move down the funnel, it becomes narrow and many of the leads will drop off. A small number of leads make it through the last stage of the funnel who finally turned into final customers. Marketing funnel includes three stages which are TOFU, MOFU and BOFU. In content marketing funnel, the three stages are as follows: 1.Discovery -When leads discover your product or came to know about your brand. 2.Consideration -When prospective customers make a choice and compare your product with others and find whether your product is suitable or not. 3.Purchase -When prospective customer gathers the information they need to decide whether you should buy the product and become your customer or not.

We delight them so that they advertise our brand to their friends, family, colleagues etc. and also come back and repurchase the product or service. A content marketing funnel is not about a one-time purchase. It takes your customers and utilises them to refill the top of the funnel. It is more of a cyclical strategy than a linear progression. The process is all about creating goodwill and trust. Interact with people at each and every stage of the funnel by posting relevant content to persuade the leads to the next step. It totally depends on the sales cycle, industry and your targeted audience. Content types and stages are overlapped in such a way that this is complicated to understand.
