Investment Opportunity We can build an tourist guest house of 20 rooms for an average of 02 pax with an maximum occupancy of 40 pax at 100% occupancy, and also an additional 05 family rooms for group booking. Facilities included with the guest house, would include an in-house restaurant, spa and a gym facility for the guests, with the establishment of diving & water sports facilities at a future date.

  3. We need USD 350,000 to construct the guest house with the restaurant and come to operation. For buying water sports facilities which is optional, we need additional USD 150,000 to USD 200,000. As Maldives is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, it is quite profitable to run an guest house operation in Maldives. Maldives tourism industry is developing at great speed and demand is increasing, with tourist arrivals going from strength to strength without decline.

Once we start our guest house with restaurant and water sports facilities and additional income generating activities such as excursions, we would recover the investment in 3 years. The occupancy is maintained not lower than 50% throughout the year though which averages at 60% to 80%.

  6. Reason for Investment The island is recently open for building guest houses. Currently, there are not a lot of guest houses operating in the Island. The occupancy for the present guest houses is maintained at 50% even though they do not provide any recreational service such as water sports. High growth potential since additional land can be obtained.

  7. Funding Utilization USD 350,000 will be used for construction of the guest house with 25 rooms (20 couple rooms & 05 family rooms) and the restaurant, gym and spa center. The remaining USD 200,000 will be used to buy water sports facilities such as jet skis, a small speed boat and diving equipment etc.

  8. Business Opportunity We have land areas available and are seeking an investor who can invest the total amount needed for the business. We are ready to share 50/50 between the investor and us. Also if the investor would like to play an active role in the operation, we welcome to do so.
