  3. The Great Barrier Reef is pure enchantment. Not only does it delight the senses but it casts a spell over all who enter. Stretching through the sapphire blue waters of Queensland for over 2000 kilometres, the Great Barrier Reef is the most extensive coral reef system in the world. It is also the largest World Heritage area, and the largest structure made completely by living organisms. The Great Barrier Reef is not a single reef, but features more than 2900 individ- ual reefs and 900 islands. Great Barrier Reef大堡礁

  4. The warm waters off Queensland offer some of the best boating and diving in the world. Diving will introduce you to a fathomless underwater world and thousands of brilliantly coloured species of marine life including 1500 types of fish, 4000 types of molluscs, 350 types of echinoderms and 350 types of corals. This diversity creates a kaleidoscope of colour for divers, snorkellers, and people viewing from underwater obse rvatories and glass-bottomed boats. Average water temperatures on the reef range from around 22’C in July to around 27’C in January making it perfect for diving all year round.

  5. Phillip Island Penguin Parade企鹅岛 Penguin Island is an important breeding ground for the largest colony of Little Fairy Penguins澳洲神仙小企鹅(3.5cm, about 1kg) 128km southeast to Melbourne. Befor sunrise, the Little Fairy Penguins lanch out for food (sardine), swimming 50-80 sea miles a day. And when the curtain of night befalls, they return to the nest.

  6. Kangaroo Island was part of the Australian mainland until sea levels rose 10,000 years ago. Now, its isolation means it is a safe home to abundant, undisturbed wildlife. One of the best examples of this is Seal Bay, a colony of around 600 rare sea lions. (10%) Here at this beach they are both protected and showcased to travellers. While fishing and swimming are prohibited here, visitors are offered guided tours walking among the sea lions as they loll in the sun on the beach. You can get as close as six metres to these fascinating mammals - take a camera! Kangaroo Island

  8. Wave Rock地质公园- 波浪岩 The eastern wheat-belt town of Hyden is home to Wave Rock, a 2,700 million year old rock formation that appears as a huge tidal wave about to sweep over the plains below. Nearby are other wonderful rock formations, The Humps and Hippo's Yawn. Hire a dune buggy, go hot air ballooning over the Avon Valley, windsurf, fish, dive, bushwalk, rock climb, play golf, experience a working farm and much, much more.

  9. Uluru (Ayers Rock)爱尔斯岩 Ayers Rock locates in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and it is one of the unique views in Australia. In aboriginal people eyes, Ayers Rock is holy. Their language names Ayers as Uluru. It is said as the largest individual rock in the world. Becuase of different angles of sunshine and weather, rock displays different colors. Travellers can climb the rock but injury issues even died accident happens frequently. Therefore there are lots of warning board "Please Don't Climb Uluru". On surface of rock, Aboriginal draw some art work hundreds years ago, in fact that is really original aboriginal art work. Around rock, some sites are prohibited to take any photos.
