The goal of ONTransfer is to help students achieve their educational goals by showing them how to move into, between and among educational credentials institutions and programs ONTransfer helps high school, college and university students or graduates explore educational pathways that can help them plan the route to their postsecondary destination Planning Your Education Pathway

  6. ONTransfer is the most up-to-date source of information about credit transfer in Ontario. Through our website ONTransfer.ca, students can: Search our interactive transfer guide for information on how credits transfer Find a transfer advisor or learn about the transfer policy at the college or university they plan to attend Learn more about postsecondary education in Ontario Planning Your Education Pathway

For high school students and graduates, the site can help plan a postsecondary route that starts in a college diploma program and ends with a degree; ONTransfer also provides information on college-university collaborative programs; For college students and graduates, ONTransfer provides an interactive guide to established transfer routes among programs and institutions; Planning Your Education Pathway

  8. For university graduates, ONTransfer provides information on college graduate certificate and fast-track diploma programs and university second-degree opportunities; For current college or university students who are thinking about moving to another institution in Ontario, ONTransfer provides information on college and university transfer advisors and policies.   9. If you are a High School student or graduate, click on the icon on the ONTransfer home page. This will guide you to our High School page you will see the options to get a certificate, diploma, degree or enroll in a diploma/degree collaborative program. Options are also available if a student wants to become an Apprentice or is currently not sure and wants to research their options. Options for High School Students or Grads

High school students who are interested in achieving a University Degree can read “Quick Facts” about different degree options from Colleges and Universities Depending on the program they choose, students are directed to the Ontario Universities Application Centre’s page or Ontario Colleges.ca Options for High School Students or Grads

  11. The High School section leads to our Collaborative programs page where a listing of Collaborative programs are available – linking to the appropriate university or college webpage for students to explore Options for High School Students or Grads

  12. If students are interested in getting a Diploma, then a Degree – they will be directed to our Transfer Portal search engine where they can search for pathways that may be of interest to them. Options for High School Students or Grads

  13. The “I’m not sure” page provides students with useful tools and resources to help them plan their future – from discovering skills to preparing for education & beyond. This page contains links to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and the Federal governments CanLearn.ca page - Canada’s Education Savings and student financial aid resource to help get them started on their educational journey. If you are either in a College program or a College graduate, click through to the College section of the website with the icon If you already have a college diploma – you can click on “I have a college diploma or certificate.” This will lead you through to the transfer guide as well as a listing of graduate certificate programs to explore Options for College Students or Graduates

  15. If you are still in College looking to change institutions – links to each institution’s transfer policy and a transfer advisor contact are provided. You can also search the transfer guide for college to college or college to university pathways that may interest you Options for College Students or Graduates

  16. If you are interested in achieving a Graduate Certificate from a college, the ONTransfer provides a list of Graduate Certificates by program or by College to explore with links to the program webpage. Options for College Students or Graduates

  17. University graduates or students who are about to graduate and are looking for a way to gain additional job-specific skills can explore Ontario Graduate Certificate and post degree programs at colleges through this section of the website Options for University Students or Grads

University students looking to change institutions can search the Transfer Guide for University to College pathways A list of transfer advisors & links to university transfer policies is also available under the “Find a Transfer Policy / Advisor” link from the home page Options for University Students or Grads
