  2. Birth (1928) • Ernesto Guevara was born on June 14th, 1928 to Ernesto Guevara Lynch and Celia de la Serna. • He was born in Rosario, Argentina. • Legitimate Site of information. • He had an asthma attack when he was two, which proved that he had asthma, which was important later in his life.

  3. Ernesto’s Parents Here Che is pictured his parents. It’s hard to see his mother on the far left, but his father is easier to see. Obviously, Che is in the middle.

  4. Medical School (1945-1951) • Che attended medical school at the University of Buenos Aries. • He developed a great love for chess and rugby, which he played well even though he had asthma. • He also discovered Socialism and Marxist theory at the college, which helped him develop a hatred for the United States.

  5. Death (1967) • On October 9th, 1967, Che was shot down by Bolivian soldiers that were guided, trained, and equipped by Green Beret, an American CIA operative. • His death was extremely controversial. • His capture, killing, and burial are still intensely discussed by people around the world.
