  1. LRS Progress Report to the Profiling Working Group August 28, 2007

  2. Sample Point Replacement Review • TDSP’s shall notify ERCOT by submitting an LP01 transaction when replacing sample points (primary and replacement), along with the reason for replacing the sample point. • In addition, TDSP’s shall report the relevant replacement information, such as ESI ID, Recorder ID, etc. • Replacements are provided in numbered order within stratum (by Profile Type, Weather Zone) and need to be used in that order (i.e. do not skip sample points because another one down the list is more convenient).

  3. Sample Point Replacement Review • Prior to an (LRS) IDR being installed, a sample point may be replaced for the following reasons: • Unsafe conditions / vicious animals • Demolition / service removed / ESI ID status changed to Inactive • ESI ID’s Profile Type is out of scope (e.g., BUSIDRRQ, NMLIGHT, NMFLAT, BUSOGFLT) • The location is found to be an Oil/Gas premise regardless of whether it is assigned to the BUSOGFLT Profile Type or not • Substantial equipment / installation issues • Incorrect Weather Zone (identified after sample selection) • Incorrect voltage level in the following sample cells only: BUSHILF_FWEST, BUSMEDLF_FWEST, BUSLOLF_FWEST, BUSHILF_NORTH

  4. Sample Point Replacement Review • Premise has been De-energized 12 or more consecutive months at the time the (LRS) IDR would be installed. (Note: ERCOT excluded ESIID’s from the sample list if they had been de-energized for 12 or more consecutive months at the time of sample selection) • Customer refusal (permission requested only if necessary for access) • Temporary service accounts should be treated the same as all other types of customers; however, if the TDSP expects a temporary service to become Inactive within two months, for efficiency reasons, the TDSP may replace the sample point. • TDSP encounters an Off-Site Meter Read (OMR) customer where the customer has made arrangements to have his or her meter read without the meter reader entering the property.

  5. Sample Point Replacement Review • Once an (LRS) IDR has been installed, a sample point may be replaced for the following reasons: • Unsafe conditions / vicious animals • Demolition / service removed / ESI ID status changed to Inactive • De-energized for 6 or more consecutive months after IDR installed • ESI ID’s Profile Type is out of scope (e.g., BUSIDRRQ, NMLIGHT, NMFLAT, BUSOGFLT) • Voltage level changes and the sample point is in one of the following sample cells: BUSHILF_FWEST, BUSMEDLF_FWEST, BUSLOLF_FWEST, BUSHILF_NORTH

  6. Sample Point Replacement Review • Customer request for (LRS) IDR removal • Premise switches to Off-Site Meter Read (OMR) • The sample is terminated or refreshed by ERCOT.

  7. Round 2 Sample Point Installations

  8. Primary ERCOT Contacts • Each TDSP should call or email their primary ERCOT contact if they have any questions regarding sample point transactions. • Contact the ERCOT Help Desk with FTP Replacement related questions.
