Test Format It is 3 hours of the test, which consists of 4 modules starting with ​PTE Speaking, PTE Writing​ followed by ​PTE Reading​ and lastly ​PTE Listening​. There are 20 tasks which are divided among these four modules. 5 are in speaking, 2 are in writing, 5 are in reading and 8 tasks in listening respectively.
