  3. H  B/S ~ 0.3 (1) Looking at inclusive  sample, dominant bkg in signal region is Z. Combinatorial bkg from VV much smaller. Other sources of bkg could come from ee with e not in the acceptance. e+e- (H): 20k (define signal pdf) e+e-  : 200k (use as data) e+e-  (Z): 500k (B/S~7) e+e- (W)(W): 200k (B/S~2) e+e- (Z)(Z): 100k(B/S<<0.1) e+e-  ee: 20k (with cuts on electrons outside acceptance) B/S ~ 6 (1) B/S ~ 41 (1) Frederic Teubert

  4. H bb SiD study at s=250 GeV Two sources of bkg: other SM background processes and other Higgs decays. Expected to be dominated by SM background. e+e- (Hbb): 20k e+e- (Hcc): 20k SM bkg and calibration samples: e+e-  qq: 500k (shared with squarks) e+e-  qq: 500k (shared with squarks) e+e- (Z)(Zqq): 100k Frederic Teubert
