National CMOP Organization-October, 2007 • Deputy Chief Consultant-PBM/CMOP for Operations: New position established to provide leadership and direction to CMOP Directors and operational positions. • Deputy Chief Consultant-PBM/CMOP for Planning and Program Development: Former National CMOP Director position changed to focus on planning and developing programs, especially with customers external to VA.

  3. CMOPs: Technology at WorkConsolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy • over 200 Million “30 Day Equivalents” / Year • Performance: • Error Rates: less than 0.0004% • Patient Satisfaction Rating: ~93% VG/E • Productivity: greater than 70,000 Rx/FTEE/year

  5. CMOP New and Replacement Initiatives • Dallas (TX): System accepted in 2006. Dispensing over 40K Rx/day. • Chelmsford (MA): System activated in April 2007. Dispensing ~ 25K Rx/day. • Tucson (AZ): System activated in September 2007. Dispensing ~13K Rx/day. • Murfreesboro (TN): Approved for lease space in area. Contracting for new system within 12 months. Separate CS CMOP in existing space. • Additional CMOP: Business case updated, recommending 8th CMOP in Northwest.
