  4. Stingray Bay • Stingray bay is also the mouth of the Merri river. • The beach is very shallow but further out where the river joins the sea it is very deep and dangerous. The Surf Club • The surf club is the main beach in Warrnambool and most of the beach activities are held there. • There is a nippers club here too.

  5. McGennans • McGennans is another main beach but there are smaller waves. • In summer some people come here to teach kids how to surf, as the small waves are good for learning.

  8. The Beauty of Tower Hill If you come to Warrnambool Tower Hill is a great place to visit. All the animals and plants are amazing and there are so many tracks and walks to discover. Come to Tower Hill, it will amaze you with its beauty.

  9. Facts Tower Hill is a dormant volcano located on the Princess Highway 14 kilometres west of Warrnambool. Tower Hill was formed about 30,000 years ago when it erupted. There are many animals that live in Tower Hill such as emus, kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, snakes and so many more!

Facts About the Great Ocean Road • Work on the Great Ocean Road started in 1919 after soldiers returned from World War 1. • The soldiers made the road as a memorabilia to those lost in the war. • On the Great Ocean Road you will find the Twelve Apostles.(as seen on prior slide) • These tall rocks are one of the main reasons tourists come to see the Great Ocean Road as well as the luscious rainforest
