DESCRIPTION

Jocelyn Sloan, President of the Autism Society of North Dakota, shares her experience as a married mother of two. Her 10-year-old son, Jonah, diagnosed with PDD-NOS (a form of autism) at age 6, presents unique challenges and triumphs. Meanwhile, her 12-year-old daughter, Martha, is developing typically. Recognizing the need for more autism resources in North Dakota, Jocelyn advocates for better support and understanding in the community, highlighting the importance of awareness and education for families affected by autism.
