  12. To find the required code for the parking spaces in your parking lot, you must figure the type of building that you are constructing. From that information, the code tells you that you must have a certain number of spaces per footage of your building. My partner and I calculated, using that information, our number of parking spaces for our building. We came out with thirteen parking spaces, included in that thirteen are two accessible spaces, or handicap spaces, with ramps on either side. In the parking lot, green space is required. We have a patch of green space at the front left corner of our building; it is rounded and gated with the curb of the street. In the green space there are multiple native plants of Indiana, and they are placed in and orientation to where it both shields the building from too much sun, or a storm, and gives the building a small taste of nature. The run off of the parking lot is 0.5539 cfs, and the runoff for the land or green space is 0.061 cfs Parking Plan
