Décision : • de lancer en 2006 un appel d’offres Cosmic Vision pour • des missions petites ou moyennes • de repousser le lancement de Solar Orbiter en 2017 • de démarrer le processus industriel pour LISA uniquement • après LISAPathfinder Statut de la mission LISA “Mission formulation study is proceeding as planned. A mid-term review will take place on 24-25 April at ESTEC, with participation of the US project. One goal is to select the baseline mission architecture to enable the prime contractor to derive the requirements at system and subsystem levels.” (réunion FPAG, 11 avril)

LISAPathfinder Mission Preliminary Design Review passée avec succès en Février Quelques soucis avec :FEE du senseur inertiel, mécanisme de caging Entré en phase C/D Critical Design Review prévue en juin 2006 Modèle de vol livré à Astrium Germany en septembre 2006 Revue ESA/NASA en janvier 2006 du DRS en janvier 2006: ordinateur de vol et FEEPs.

  6. Europe: FP 7 Letter of Intent signed by LISA-F, LISA-G, LISA-UK, LISA-I, LISA-SP, LISA-ND planning to prepare one or more of the following projects: 1. A Research Training Network. 2. A Virtual Research Institute to integrate the European researchers interested in all aspects of low-frequency gravitational wave science, including, but not limited to, relativity, astrophysics, cosmology and data analysis. 3. Possible participation in ILIAS NEXT with the intention of networking research groups in Europe interested in low-frequency gravitational waves. Contact: B. Sathyaprakash, Cardiff
