  2. Your assignment will be as a news reporter writing an article about the upcoming Papal Conclave. You will cover the following angles in your story:

  3. 1). What/where/when/why/who is a conclave and what are the rules that have stood for centuries? What did Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI change? • 2). Describe the Cistine Chapel and how Michaelangelo create it. What will happen in the chapel? • 3). Give a brief description of the challenges facing the newly elected Pope and what qualities will the Cardinals be voting for. • 4). Give a brief description of the top 5 candidates in the news including country, age, reasons for candidacy.

  4. 5) Create a clever cover with an appropriate title, graphics, your name at the bottom right. • Open with a thesis statement. All paragraphs should have opening and closing sentence. Final paragraph should be conclusion. • This will be a 2-3 page report.

  5. Take notes in your copy book to answer all questions • Use microsoft Word in a newspaper format • Spacing1.15 Should have pictures of the 5 candidates with description. 5 sentences (at least in a paragraph) File Name XXXPAPAL
