  4. Famous people that play it • The famous people who play the elctric guitar are Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jack White, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Beatles, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, led Zepplin, Joe Sartiani, Slash, Carlos Santana, Angus Young, Kirk Hammett, Keith Richards.

  5. How to play the Electric Guitar • You need Good intonation. This is maybe the most critical thing. Your guitar should be accurate so that when it's in tune (and you're playing the right notes), it will sound right. If your guitar has bad intonation, it may be in tune on the lower strings, but terribly out of tune when playing higher notes. This will be discouraging and make it much harder to learn.

  6. History • Invented in 1931, the electric guitar became a necessity as jazz musicians sought to amplify their sound in the big band format. During the 1950s and 1960s, the electric guitar became the most important instrument in pop music. It has evolved into a stringed musical instrument that is capable of a multitude of sounds and styles. It served as a major component in the development of Rock ‘n’ Roll and many other genres of music.
