Growing up With Malcolm Did you know that Malcolm’s real last name was Little? Malcolm was born in Nebraska the year he was born in was 1925. Malcolm moved from Nebraska to Michigan around the age of 3. When Malcolm was 5 his father died in a car crash. When Malcolm was around 8 his mother became ill and the children were adopted. Malcolm has many brothers and sisters. Overall, life was hard when Malcolm was growing up.
Why We remember Malcolm X Do you know why we remember Malcolm X ? We remember Malcolm X because he worked for the civil rights movement like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Malcolm X wanted to have our nation separate from the whites then he learned that we should make peace in the world. When Malcolm made his speech he used kind words that stood out to everybody. Malcolm stayed strong and hoped that every body will listen to him. In conclusion, Malcolm X is a very important person and we should remember him.
Did You Know? Wow! Here are some more interesting facts about Malcolm X. Malcolm’s real last name is little but he changed it to X. After a while Malcolm X moved from Michigan to Boston. Malcolm joined a gang and went to prison. In prison Malcolm spent most of his time reading books and sending letters to his brothers and sisters. In my opinion Malcolm X should not have joined that gang.
