New Grading Policy • If your child makes a 1… • on daily work, he/she will be given the opportunity to re-work the daily work at school or home. • All tests (excluding district benchmark exams) that receive a 1 will be retaken at school within one week of the original administration. • The re-take grade can be improved to a 70.

  15. Parent Conferences • Fall conferences will take place on Monday, Oct. 8. • Conferences will begin after we have completed assessing and observing students. • Teachers will be contacting you to discuss conference options.

  16. Miscellaneous • Money- envelope (driver’s license # on checks) • Handbook-dress code • Birthday invitations • Treats- after lunch at teacher’s convenience (Individual Treats Only – Nothing with frosting) • Snack Allergy – depends on classroom needs

  17. Talented and Gifted Program (TAG) Nov 1, 2012 @ 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria TAG Testing Parent Information Night If you are interested in knowing more about the program and want to refer your child for testing, you must attend this meeting.
