  2. GhostCast server • GhostCast server is a utility of the Symantec Ghost software. Using GhostCast server you can create images of computers in the network or you can restore an image to several connected clients at the same time.

How to use GhostCast server to restore an image file At the server computer:The server computer is the computer at which you run GhostCast Server. • Run the GhostCast Server. • The GhostCast Server window will open. In this case, we will be restoring an image onto a client computer. • Type a name for this session in the Session Name box.

Insert Hiren’s Boot CD • Choose CD ROM Drive from the Startup/Boot Menu . • Choose Mini windows XP.

  13. How to use GhostCast server to restore an image file At the client computer: • The Question dialogue box appears asking if you want to proceed with the restore. Click Yes. • The image will now be restored on the system. Upon completion, a dialogue box will appear, Click Reset Computer.

  14. BIOS Passwords • IF you forget your BIOS password • You can't enter into CMOS setup, if you have forgot the password. There is no way to find the password again. But, you can remove the BIOS password using some utilities or some other ways. • Remove CMOS battery and insert it again after some time. • Change the CMOS jumper settings.
