Simpson County Schools Accountability Results, Fall of 2013 Franklin-Simpson High School 97th Percentile* DISTINGUISHED *percentile rank based on 2012 state scores Achievement 20% of 68.8 (61.5) Gap 20% of 45.1 (35.9) Category: Distinguished/ Priority School Overall Score 71.8 (53.7) Percentile Rank 97 (45) DistinguishedTarget Percentile: 70 Growth 20% of 63.9 (55.2) College/Career Readiness 20% of 85.6 (33.9) Categories Distinguished-Above 90th Percentile Proficient-70th to 89th Percentile Needs Improvement-Below 70th Percentile Graduation Rate 20% of 95.3 (81.9) • Celebrations and Highlights: • Overall score increased from 53.7 in 2012 to 71.8 in 2013, an 18.1 increase! • FSHS scored above the state average in every area assessed in Achievement, Gap, Growth, and CCR! • College and Career Readiness (CCR) increased from 33.9 in 2012 to 85.6 in 2013, a 51.7 point improvement! • The graduation rate (adjusted for a new method of calculation) increased from 81.9 in 2012 to 95.3 in 2013!
