CASO CLINICO • Varón de 26 años con SD HIPOTALAMICO CRONICO (hiperfagia, hipersomnia,..) y DEFECTOS VISUALES. • RMN: Masa supraselar, extraaxial, de 3 x 2,8 x 4cm, que produce compresión de hipófisis sin infiltrarla. Desplaza pared anterior del III ventrículo. • Dxco Radiológico: Posible Craneofaringioma

  3. ACTUACION CLINICA • TTO: Cirugia: Extirpación incompleta con persistencia tumoral. • DXCO: • HISTOLOGICO EN BIOPSIA DIFERIDA, • INTRAOPERATORIA INSUFICIENTE PARA EMITIR DIAGNOSTICO.

  15. DATOS CLINICOS • DESCRITO EN 1998: Brat et al. J NEUROPATHOL EXP NEUROL (< 80 casos) • MUJER/VARON: 1,7/1; 30-60 a. • LOCALIZACION: parte anterior del III ventrículo (hipotálamo + supraselar) • RX: • ORIGEN: Lámina terminalis, céls ependimarias modificadas del OSC • HISTOLOGIA: cordones o nidos cels epitelioides, matriz mucinosa, infiltrado linfoplasmocitario. • INMUNOHISTOQUIMICA: +: PAGF, VIMENTINA, CD-34, EMA, CK, S-100 (débil) • TTO. ELECCION: Resección completa extremadamente complicada: Alta mortalidad, persistencia tumoral. • CLASIFICACION: GRADO II OMS (Tumores de origen incierto)
