  2. Forest Ranger

  3. Education Needed To be a forest ranger you need to at least have a bachelor’s degree in forestry, biology, or a related major. If you want a research position you will need a PHD.

  4. Salary Usually a forester for a state park will get a yearly average pay of $53,000. If you work for a national park you will get $73,350 per year on average.

  5. Salary With a 3% Raise

  6. Duties/Responsibilities You have to be willing to protect guest from animals and nature. You also have to be willing to protect the forest. You have to fight fires, go on search and rescue missions, and inform visitors about the park.

  7. Extra Facts They can work in any state or federal park. Their symbol is a arrowhead with a pine tree and a bison in it.

  9. Education You don’t need a college education to be a farmer you just have to be willing to do the job.

  10. Amount of Pay If I plant 50 acres of corn and I harvest it two times a year then I would make 44,400 if the prices stay at $3.70 per pound.

  11. Crop Management This is one of the biggest jobs a farmer has. You have to plan out what crops to grow at what time then you have to figure out how much it would cost to grow that crop. Then you have to water and fertilize the crop. Most of the time you have to work all day watering and fertilizing the crop.

  12. Equipment A farmer has to use equipment to fertilize and water the crop. Usually a farmer has a tractor, hay bailer, fertilizer tanks, and combines just to name a few.

  13. Amount of Total Pay After growing corn and being a park ranger I would make at least 97,400.
