  1. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme Benefits The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme was launched in 2015 by the Prime minister of India. As per the 2011 population census, there were 943 girls for every 1000 boys. This initiative sought to improve India’s skewed sex ratio by educating and empowering the girl child. The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme has been implemented in order to provide the girl child with access to safety, survival and education. This programme is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
