  2. The forest floor Very little light reaches the forest floor because of the canopy. It is very hot and humid and you see the wide trunks of the tall trees and the small plants growing on the floor.

  3. Animals in the forest floor The forest floor is home to many species of animals such as bats, possums, frogs, snakes, anteaters, cassowaries and more

  4. Plants and trees in the forest floor Mosses, herbs and fungi grow here. It is very hot and humid. Fallen leaves, dead plants and animals will decay very quickly. When a tree falls it provides extra light for other plants to grow such aslianas, herbs and saplings to grow.
