Progress on Chimera Update 2: Development of New Production Framework
DESCRIPTION
Rob Gardner from the University of Chicago provides an update on the Chimera project. The team is collaborating with the US ATLAS production team to implement a new production framework integrating Chimera, DAGMan, Condor-G, Globus, and GRAT. This framework is based on a grid component model, allowing for increased efficiency in data processing. Currently, they are gaining hands-on experience by supporting the reconstruction of the dataset from 2001, ensuring the framework meets operational requirements.
