SERMN Routes • SERMN - Swap Escape Routes-Metro New York • 3 SERMN plays – North, East & South • Pilots are instructed to not request higher altitude enroute. • ATCSCC will publish an Advisory when SERMN routes are available. Flights may file the SERMN route or towers will solicit crew acceptance of the route before making the amendment themselves or asking ZNY to amend the route & altitude
SERMN North • Destinations from SYR southwest to CRW, in ZOB, ZAU and ZID • Towers/N90 are expected to do the amendments
SERMN East • For destinations in New England • Towers/N90 are expected to do the amendments
SERMN South • For destinations in ZDC and points South • Towers/N90 are expected to do the amendments
AZEZU Routes • Used when WHITE and WAVEY are impacted • ATCSCC will publish an Advisory • CDRS are available for over 20 destinations, coded as xxxyyyAZ

Tactical Route Coordinator - TRC • Position was developed in conjunction with the GA customers at TEB/MMU/HPN. • Equipment is being relocated to enhance operations • Position functions are being modified in conjunction with ZNY to improve its effectiveness • We will continue to expand its use and expect full functionality by next SWAP season
CDRs/Abbreviated Clearances • The CDR/Abbreviated Clearance allows controllers to issue the CDR code. • GA aircraft must file “CDR capable” in Remarks section. • The crews will have access to the CDR database through dispatch. • CDR database contains over 4000 city pair routings for the most commonly used reroutes for flights from EWR, LGA, JFK, PHL, TEB and HPN • CDR format is XXXYYYZZ, where XXX is the departure airport, YYY is the arrival airport, and ZZ is the route string. • Example : EWRFLLAZ is the AZEZU route from EWR to FLL: KEWR DIXIE V276 PREPI OWENZ LINND AZEZU L453 PAEPR M201 BAHAA AR21 CRANS FISEL2 KFLL
