Catchment Sensitive Farming Winter 2012 Update

The 2012 Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) Capital Grant Scheme is now open for applications from March 1st to April 30th. A budget of £21 million is available, with grants of up to £10,000 per holding. This scheme supports capital works that improve water quality in the Dart, Slapton, Salcombe to Kingsbridge, Yealm, Erme, and Avon catchments. Priority items include watercourse fencing, livestock drinker bases, and manure storage roofing. Budget £21m allocated. The maximum available grant per holding is £10,000. We now pay for capital items on the basis of 50% of the actual cost of agreed capital works up to the maximum guide price shown in the handbook. Target Area All land feeding into the Dart, Slapton, Salcombe to Kingsbridge, Yealm, Erme, and Avon catchments.
