The adolescent and volunteer work3rd survey 2006 TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE SAMPLE ”YOUTH, SOLIDARITY AND VOLUNTEER WORK” • Scope National • Universe Spanish population of both sexes, aged 15 to 29. • Sample size1475 interviews • AffixationProportional • Sampling points157 municipalities and 42 provinces
The adolescent and volunteer work3rd survey 2006 • Sample procedures Multi-stage, divided into strata, selecting the primary sample units (municipalities) and the secondary units (sections) with a probability according to its size, and the last units (individuals), through random routes and sex and age quotas. The strata have been formed by combining the 17 autonomous communities with the size of the habitat, which is divided into 7 categories: below or equal than 2,000 inhabitants; from 2,001 to 10,000; from 10,001 to 50,000; from 50,001 to 100,000; from 100,001 to 400,000; from 400,001 to 1,000,000, and over 1,000,000 inhabitants. The surveys have been done following a personal interview system at home.
