  1. Difference Between CV and Resume: Freelance Jobs in Europe When you preparing find freelance jobs in Europe, the first thing that you need to prepare is a document that will show your qualifications that prove your competence as a freelancer. Some are confused whether they must prepare a CV or a resume. In Europe, people typically use CVs, while in America and Canada, they submit resumes. How does these two differ? CV vs Resume A resume is usually short and succinct that emphasizes the skills of the applicant. The main purpose is to summarize an applicant’s skills and experience, thus, it is usually one or two pages. The information can also be shuffled, highlighting relevant experience/s that matches the targeted contracting jobs. On the other hand, a CV is written in a more detailed way by listing the academic credentials and previous jobs in a chronological manner. Typically, previous jobs come with a summary that highlights how the contractor has helped the company alleviate the business bottlenecks and improve the overall profit through effective implementation of computer-related solutions. If you want to find freelance jobs in Europe, it is recommended to submit your CV to your potential client to help him/her assess your skills and how you can be an asset of the company.
