NEXT SACS ACCREDITATION • Next SACS accreditation reaffirmation takes place in AY2007-08 • Compliance Certification document submitted in September 2007 • Quality Enhancement Plan submitted in Spring 2008 • On-Site visit in Spring 2008 • Principles of Reaffirmation: Criteria • Core Requirements (12) – compulsory for newly accredited institutions • Comprehensive Standards (53) – elaboration of Core Requirements • Federal Requirements (8) – need to meet for Title IV compliance SACS Workshops

SACS CRITERIA • Criteria Related to Curricula • CS 3.3.1 – Institutional Effectiveness: The institution identifies expected outcomes for its educational programs and its administrative and educational support services; assesses whether it achieves these outcomes; and provides evidence of improvement based on analysis of those results. SACS Workshops
