  1. What is Gaza : Is a coastal strip of land along the Mediterranean sea . It borders Egypt on the south west and Israel on the south , east and north . It is about 41 kilometers long , and between 6 and 12 kilometers ( 4- 7.5 mi ) wide , with a total area of 360 square kilometers ( 139 sq mi ) .over one million people live in the Gaza Strip . misconceptions about Gaza : * We are terrorists : False , Arab nations are not terrorists on the contrary , they marked by mercy . Especially our religion command us to be kind and lovely with all nations But there are some parcels who killed and fight the people under the pretense that it is a holly war , these are the terrorists .We must eradicate these people , because they slander our repute . * We are underdeveloped :Partly True , Although most of the people are educated these days , they do not have a chance to improve themselves , or there is no qualities to invent something . * We have many kinds of food : Partly True , Every country from Arab world has it's traditional food . Also most women in our world are housewife , so they like cooking and making different food . Welcom to Gaza

And each one has his favourite activity . * Media : The most popular media in our country is the Television . Nearly , all the people are watching the television . Also the computer become very familiar between youth . * Common foods : People in Gaza like making many sorts of food , but the famous food are : Maftool , Falafel , Makloba , The yellow rice , etc..
