  11. Story telling • Regular storytelling sessions to suit all ages are run in each library every week • Check the times for Baby Time sessions, Toddler Time, After-school and Bed Time Storytelling at your local library.

  12. School Holiday Activities • During school holidays each library runs FREE activities for school aged children • Contact your local library for storytelling times or for a schedule of school holiday activities

  13. Home Library Service • Home library service is provided to people unable to independently access the library • Books are selected by library staff and delivered to homes by trained volunteers • Volunteers to deliver books are always required • Phone Janet Poole on 3412 4147 for details

  14. Accessibility Centre Provides equipment for people with: • Vision, hearing, intellectual and mobility disabilities • Those who find it difficult to use standard equipment

  17. Databases • FREE databases are available online – use from home or library • Members can click the “Databases” tab from http://catalogue.logan.qld.gov.au • Access Mathemagic Computer Tutor from any library

  18. Yourtutor Online • Yourtutor puts year 4-12 students in touch with an online tutor trained in their subject choice from 4pm - 8pm Monday to Friday. • Access is available from home or the library.

  19. eBooks & eMedia • Download best selling digital audio titles, music, and movies to your PC at home • Available from home, office or from anywhere in the world.

  20. Reading Development The Reading Development collection can help people improve their English, reading, writing and numeracy skills and contains: • Book and audio kits at a reading speed to suit you • Books to suit different reading levels

  26. New Loan Period From April 6th, Logan Libraries will be trialling a two (2) week loan period. Don't fret! You can now renew items up to three (3) times instead of just once!!
